Blake is an issue-routing and delegation tool that recommends the best person to own a piece of work by analyzing code ownership in a connected GitHub repository. It indexes recent commit history and long-lived ownership signals, interprets the issue’s subject matter, and uses that to identify the engineer with the strongest relevant expertise. It solves the problem of unclear ownership in fast-moving teams, where people know what needs to be done but not who should take it. Instead of relying on intuition or tribal knowledge, Blake uses real engineering history to route work intelligently, with Linear as one of the systems it can plug into for the workflow.
