Cutaway — Demo video

The best way to understand how something works is to play with it: rotate it, slice it open, drag a slider and watch it respond. Explainers like that take experts months of research, 3D modelling and coding. AI can now generate 3D scenes in seconds, but they’re often wrong: made-up numbers, physics that doesn’t hold, motion that doesn’t match the real thing. Teachers, students and hardware documentation teams can’t trust them. Cutaway builds these explainers from real sources and proves them. A team of Google ADK agents researches the topic: Deep Research and an Antigravity managed agent find papers, patents and videos, downloading and reading them in their own sandbox. Gemini 4 Argon reads everything, writes a spec where every fact cites a quote that code checks against the source, and generates the whole interactive 3D explainer in one long pass. One pass is only a first draft. Cutaway renders every figure, measures the physics frame by frame, and Argon watches its own output next to the real reference videos. It then fixes what’s wrong and checks again. On our noise-cancelling headphones run, high-severity problems dropped from 11 to 0 in two rounds. Every change waits for a person to approve it before it’s published.
