FixtureFit — Demo video

FixtureFit: find the blocked wrench before the print. Live demo: https://fixturefit.vercel.app/try A 3D-printed fixture can hold a metal part perfectly and still block the wrench needed to work on it. The mistake is often discovered only after printing, forcing another design and print cycle. FixtureFit brings the operator's tool movement into the design process. It uses Gemini 4 Argon to turn a short operator video and the part CAD into a custom fixture, then independently checks whether the tool can reach the part. How it works: 1. UNDERSTAND: Argon watches the operator clip and extracts timestamped tool-access rules. The engineer confirms them. 2. DESIGN: a single Argon call generates the complete initial fixture as CadQuery code. 3. VERIFY: FixtureFit's independent geometric checker builds the CAD and checks swept-tool clearance, intersections, datum contact, keep-out zones and printable geometry. The model never grades its own design. 4. REPAIR: when a tool change creates a collision, two parallel forks of one saved Gemini Managed Agent try different geometric repairs. The checker returns measured failures through the agent's sign-off function, allowing further rounds in the same session. A passing result waits for engineer approval. Measured example: - Initial Argon draft: +3.98 mm PASS, generated in 112 seconds. - Socket changed from Ø18 to Ø28: −1.03 mm FAIL. - After one Argon repair: +1.97 mm PASS against a 1.5 mm clearance requirement. - Three of three live repair trials passed in 70 to 87 seconds on this sample part family. The engineer receives screened STEP and STL geometry, a traceable clearance report and an approval workflow. Physical validation remains the engineer's responsibility, and checkout runs in Stripe test mode. Built for Problem Statement Two, More Dimensions: video understanding, generated 3D CAD, measured spatial feedback and agentic repair in one loop. Gemini proposes. Geometry decides. Engineers approve.
