Reality Weaver is a mobile web app that turns the world in front of your phone into an AI-generated story: you point the camera at your surroundings, and every few seconds a frame is sent to Gemini 2.5 Flash (image + text). The model returns one short sentence in English and Japanese, which appears on screen with a typewriter effect and builds a live, bilingual “novel” that follows your theme (e.g. cyberpunk, Lovecraftian horror, or Japanese magic realism). You move through real spaces while the narrative evolves from what the camera sees; when you’re done, you tap “End & generate novel” and Gemini writes a final chapter and title from the collected fragments. Built with HTML, vanilla JS, and Tailwind, and designed for portrait fullscreen on iPhone/Android over HTTPS (e.g. via Cloudflare Tunnel), Reality Weaver is a Gemini-powered, camera-as-input narrative game for a hackathon: no controller, just you, your environment, and an AI co-author.
