EMR Copilot: an agent team that clears a clinic's overnight back office (claim denials, prior auths, referrals, chart prep) and writes and verifies its own definition of done. For every case, a Planner agent writes a machine-checkable done-checklist before any work starts. Worker agents act through tools. An independent Verifier (different model, never sees the Worker's reasoning) checks every item against the chart, tool log and NPI registry. Fail → re-plan (max 2). Same action repeating → loop detector stops it. Anything needing a signature, insurance fix or physician review goes to staff by hard rule, never by model judgment. Final production run on Nemotron via Crusoe: 20 synthetic cases, 16 closed by their own checks, 10 bad outputs stopped by the Verifier, 1 loop stopped, 4 escalated to staff. Example: DN-3308 — the Worker picked a same-name dermatologist's NPI; the Verifier caught it, the Worker re-planned to the cardiologist, all checks passed. Synthetic data only. Administrative work only, no medical advice. Pre-event work is disclosed and dated in the README (organizer approval). Live demo: https://emr-copilot.vercel.app
