Capiis

Capiis is a local-first wealth management “agent swarm”. Who: HNW individuals (and advisors) handling complex portfolios, taxes, and account/legal structures. What: A read-only dashboard + background agents that generate tax briefings, portfolio insights, price updates, and intel signals. Why: CLI output can be detailed, but without a visual framework users don’t know what to ask next across assets/liabilities/tax. Capiis makes the system legible while keeping humans in control. How: Vanilla JS dashboard (no build step) + Node/Express REST API + SSE realtime refresh. Local data layer = Excel + JSON files. Agents: Tax Analyst, Price Tracker, Feed Analyst. Skills: Onboarding, Tax Professional, Portfolio Intelligence. Tax figures are fact-checked via Perplexity MCP. Built from scratch during the hackathon.
