Every three weeks, we host live sessions with experts to explore real-world applications of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), feature community projects, and showcase tools and agents pushing MCP to the next level.

This session’s theme: Optimizing MCP for Agents

We’ll dive into what it takes to build high-performing, production-grade MCP servers. Topics include:

  • Key components of deploying MCP services in production

  • Building MCP servers that serve millions

  • The role of the MCP registry and supporting infrastructure

  • Designing and optimizing MCP servers for agent use

Featured Speakers:

  • Sam MorrowSenior Software Engineer at GitHub

    • Leading development on GitHub’s MCP server

  • Tobin SouthSecure AI Agents & MCP at WorkOS

    • Tobin leads the effort to make enterprise-ready agent tools with MCP at WorkOS

About the Host:

This session is hosted by Sarmad Qadri, CEO of LastMile AI and creator of mcp-agent, a simple, composable framework for building agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP).

“Silsila” (سلسلہ) means chain of events in Urdu. We thought it was a fitting name for a gathering of builders, researchers, and developers working on modular, tool-using, agentic systems powered by MCP. (It was also the name we considered before settling on mcp-agent.)
