OpenAI Codex Hackathon

Join OpenAI and top developers for a day of hands-on building with Codex, our AI coding agent. Create a compelling app that showcases how Codex accelerates designing, building and shipping software or use it to accelerate on an existing project. With the new Codex app, you can kick off parallel tasks, leverage skills and worktrees to bring more ideas to life. You'll build alongside the OpenAI team and pitch your project to our judges for a chance to be featured in an exclusive demo showcase.

This event is designed for developers with a baseline of technical knowledge. No prior experience using Codex is required.

The top three teams will win $90,000 in credits plus a year of ChatGPT Pro.

Note: This is a fully in-person event in San Francisco. Space is limited. Maximum team size is four. All attendees must submit an application for approval.
