CouncilSim
Built at Built with Opus 4.6: a Claude Code hackathon · Feb 10, 2026

$64B+ in data center projects blocked by local opposition. Petitioners enter council meetings unprepared, and officials make decisions based on heated, one-sided testimony. CouncilSim helps both sides. Upload a proposal PDF and watch five AI personas — moderator, petitioner, and concerned residents — debate live through opening statements, public comment, rebuttals, Q&A, and deliberation. Built with Claude Code and Opus 4.6, CouncilSim uses the Claude Agent SDK to orchestrate four agents with three custom MCP tools. One scans real Facebook groups for community sentiment. Another analyzes the full proposal. The debate streams via WebSocket in real-time. Petitioners get an approval score, opposition arguments with battle-tested rebuttals, and a strengths/weaknesses breakdown. Better-prepared petitioners mean better-informed officials — decisions grounded in data, not fear. Go from rejected to approved — with confidence. https://councilsim.live/
