Art Therapy Morning · Lucknow

Sat, Oct 17 at 9:30 – 11:30 AM (GMT+5:30)

Lucknow, start your Saturday with something just for you. 🎨☀️

No skill. No judgement. No "I can't draw." Just two slow hours of colour, calm and noticing what you actually feel, alongside people doing the same, in the room or from home.

Join us for a guided art therapy morning that blends expressive art with simple CBT tools. You'll leave with a mandala you made, a clearer name for what you've been carrying, and one small way to cope next time it shows up.

🗓️ Saturday, 17 October · 9:30 – 11:30 AM IST

📍 In person in Lucknow (venue announced soon) + 💻 live online on Zoom / Google Meet

What we'll do together

🎨 Choose your colour: pick the shade that matches your inner weather right now, and tell us why.

🫀 Body map: a short guided meditation, then colour where you feel tension, heaviness or ease on a body outline.

〰️ Let it out, then slow down: five minutes of free scribbling to shake loose built-up tension, then one unbroken line that traces your pace today.

🌀 Emotion wheel + mandala: box breathing, then find 3–5 precise feelings on the emotion wheel, give each a colour, and colour your mandala with them.

🧠 Reflect and reframe: a guided CBT worksheet to spot the automatic thoughts behind your strongest colour, notice common thinking traps, and write a kinder, balanced reframe.

💬 Close the circle: share one word or line on a sticky note, and ask us anything.

In person, everything is provided: oil pastels, watercolours, markers, pencil colours, canvas, a printed body map, emotion wheel, mandala and reflection sheet. Soft music, scented candles. Just bring yourself.

Online, you'll get the worksheets to print or view on screen. Any paper and colours you have at home will do: pencils, crayons, sketch pens.

Who it's for: students, working professionals, anyone who's been "fine" for a little too long. No art experience needed.

🎟️ Limited slots, both in person and online. Register early to save your spot. The venue and joining link go to registered guests first.

This is a wellbeing workshop, not a replacement for therapy or medical care. If you're in distress, Tele-MANAS is free, confidential and open 24/7: call 14416.
