During a major disaster, losing wireless signal and power isn't a rare edge case. It's the most likely outcome. AEGIS is built around that fact. It's a live-translation safety companion that listens to PA announcements and translates them in real time, reads signs on demand from a photo, and builds one continuously evolving picture of the user's situation using Google's stateful Interactions API and an Antigravity scout agent for live disruption data.
The core feature is what happens next: every update is pushed to the phone as it arrives, so the moment the network actually drops, an on-device Gemma 4 model takes over instantly with the last known situation; no signal, no power grid, no server required. Nothing is lost at the exact moment it matters most.
We built this after one of our team members was in Tokyo worried about earthquakes and realized every safety tool assumes you'll still have signal when disaster strikes. The opposite of what's actually likely.
