An offline-first, installable web app that runs Gemma 4 entirely on-device — no cloud, no signal, no account, no data leaving the phone. When a hiker loses signal they just talk to it: Gemma transcribes the request on-device, then chains real, deterministic local tools — GPS locate with coverage honesty, offline A* trail routing across 9 downloadable region packs (Sandia, Chamonix, Fontainebleau, Yosemite, Zermatt, Grand Canyon, Mt Fuji, Ben Nevis, Pecos), sunset/pace math, native trail-sign reading and translation, and a Morse strobe beacon — then speaks the one thing to do now, with the route drawn on a fully offline vector map. The agentic reasoning is visible: a live tool-trace shows Gemma orchestrating every step. Deliberately non-medical by design. Everything runs client-side on WebGPU; the model and maps download once (resumable), then it works in airplane mode forever. Two Gemma tiers (E2B/E4B) hot-swap for battery elasticity.

NVIDIA bonus — "Nemotron plans your mission online; Gemma keeps you alive offline": Nemotron 3 Nano (via NIM) generates a pre-trip mission briefing from the pack's real trailhead/POI data; it's cached into the offline pack and Gemma consumes it in the field through the mission_brief tool with zero connectivity. Cloudflare bonus: the whole product ships on Pages + Pages Functions, with models and map packs streaming from R2.

Built 100% in-window: first commit 03:30:49 MDT Jul 4 ("Helius is born"); the public commit history is the build log (tag v1.0).
