Our project is a fully offline file analyzer and converter that runs entirely on the user's local machine, without any internet connection. We identified a key security concern with existing file converters and AI tools: uploading sensitive files and folders to the cloud exposes that data to third parties. To address this, we built a fully offline document workspace with zero external dependencies.
The current scope demonstrates an offline AI summarizer powered by a locally-run Gemma model, along with a PDF-to-Word converter. Planned additions include image and PowerPoint conversion, plus financial audit and balance sheet reporting — extending the project into the financial sector, where data privacy and security are especially critical.
