Welcome to the Global Codex Hackathon: [San Francisco].  
  
Join the OpenAI Team for the first Global Codex Hackathon with partners on April 16. This one-day, hands-on session is designed to help you go deeper with Codex, collaborate with other builders, and ship a working solution.

Before the hackathon, all selected partner attendees must complete the [Codex badge in PartnerU](https://openai-partneru.sana.ai/program/96bd213a-5347-4bcf-91cc-e5953f134d44).

Teams will be invited to one of two virtual prep sessions. In order to be set up for success at the hackathon, it's important to join one of these sessions. 

Each session has two parts:

- Setup + open Q&A — access checks, environment readiness, and unblockers
- Codex onboarding workshop (optional) — for anyone new to Codex who wants a practical walkthrough and time to get up to speed
