MergeFund is a GitHub-native bounty platform that lets open-source repositories attach real money to open issues. When a contributor submits a pull request (code) that resolves an issue, the payout is automatically released upon merge no delays, no manual steps. Maintainers, companies and Open-source repositories can accelerate bug fixes or feature development without changing their workflow, while developers get fairly compensated for their contributions. By aligning incentives and removing friction, MergeFund keeps open-source projects active, healthy, and sustainable.
