PolishedTake is a self-correcting AI video editor. Creators have hours of raw footage and no editor, and today's AI editors give you one shot and hope it's right. PolishedTake edits video the way agentic coding builds software. Gemini 4 Argon writes the edit as code (an edit decision list of cuts, captions, labels, title and closing card, and a music prompt), and ffmpeg compiles it into a video. Then Argon runs the tests: it watches its own render, checks it against your brief with timestamped pass/fail checks, and patches what fails, re-rendering until everything passes. Deterministic transcript checks cross-verify Argon's review, catching mid-word cuts, caption drift and duration misses.

You stay in control. You direct it like a teammate, typing or speaking a note such as "remove the robot clip", and Argon revises from the current version and re-verifies the whole video. Every version is kept, and every check links to its moment in the video.

It handles any footage, including phone verticals, 4K, HEVC and photos (which become Ken Burns clips), and cuts 9:16 for Reels and TikTok when asked. Every model call is metered, so each cut has a real cost (about $0.34 for a two-version minute). We used it today to cut a recap of this hackathon from footage shot at SHACK15.
