TreeMomo: film a real tree, find the Momo living in it.

TreeMomo is a location game where Gemini 4 Argon watches the world and referees kindness in it.

Film any tree for 10 seconds. Argon watches the clip: it identifies the species, observes the tree’s health, finds the best hideout in the footage, and designs the one Momo that lives there, drawn from the tree’s real colors. Argon then checks its own composite and moves the Momo until it truly sits in the branch.

Every Momo gets a first name from its neighborhood (Ferry PlaneMomo, Filbert DateMomo, Nisenan PineMomo), so people remember the place. Same-species neighbors form families, like the Downtown Planes. Every tree keeps a chronicle of moments, written with the live weather, plus notes from finders.

Then the game asks you to do good, and Argon checks it from video:

🧹 Cleanups: the Momo asks for help; Argon compares the before and after clips.
🤗 Hugs: Argon confirms a real hug on the right tree, then the clip is deleted.
🎁 Pay it forward: leave a poem and a gift code in a Momo. The first person to read the poem aloud at the tree gets it. Argon transcribes blind, without seeing the poem, so silence and robot voices fail.

On day one, real people found 24 Momos across San Francisco, San Jose, Fair Oaks, Michigan and Berlin. A stranger on the Embarcadero read a poem aloud and claimed the first gift.
