Trading the Narrative: A POC of an AI Native Hedge Fund

An AI-native macro hedge fund prototype, inspired by YC's request for startups (https://www.ycombinator.com/rfs - AI native hedge fund). This system uses Large Language Models as a core reasoning and synthesis layer to bridge the gap between qualitative narratives and quantitative execution.

To be AI-native, I focused on leveraging what LLMs are actually good at: (1) historical extrapolation (2) qualitative extraction and analysis (3) reasoning around text. 

We leave the quantitative heavy lifting to existing methodologies via code, and focus on making a good financial qualitative reasoning engine.
