A frightened rescue puppy enters an unfamiliar home and hides from everything around him. Rather than forcing affection, eight-year-old Maya places his KINDRED bowl a little closer each day and quietly gives him space. Through repetition, patience, and one painful setback, fear slowly becomes trust—culminating in the smallest, most meaningful reward: Scout’s first tail wag. Trust is built one bowl at a time.
