After fifteen years building bridges for a distant war, Thomas finally sets out for home alone. When an accident erases his memory, a red ribbon leads him to a hilltop community where a young girl helps him confront fragments of the life he left behind. Thomas remembers being taken from his family by duty but each recovered memory exposes a more painful truth: the distance between them was built by his own choices.
