Alps, 1877. An isolated mountain village banishes anyone who threatens it into the fog — even the scribe's own daughter, after she proves with hard numbers that the barren soil can no longer sustain them and the village must relocate. Out of fear, not conviction, the scribe raises his hand against her. When his wife confronts him, he follows his daughter into the fog - and finds not monsters, but a growing, whispering mass of everyone the village ever silenced. A stop-motion claymation short about complicity, fatherhood, and whether truth matters at all if no one is willing to hear it.
