Blender is the world's most popular open-source 3D tool, but its desktop app has a steep learning curve that intimidates hobbyists who just want to create simple meshes for 3D printing. Blender Web
Lite brings core mesh editing to the browser in a stripped-down, approachable interface. 
 
Built on a fork of the official Blender repo, the project compiles Blender's C++ geometry engine to WebAssembly via Emscripten, wrapped in a React frontend with a custom WebGL2 viewport. Users get 
essential tools — select, grab, rotate, scale with per-axis gizmos, extrude, subdivide, and delete — mirroring Blender's conventions without the overwhelming UI.
 
The highlight for 3D printing users is one-click 3MF export: the app deduplicates vertices, bakes transforms, scales to millimeters, packages a valid 3MF ZIP, and triggers a browser download that
opens directly in Bambu Studio and other slicers — a format Blender Desktop doesn't even support.
