CARN is a live autonomous drone platform for search and rescue. Drone video streams through an AI model that detects missing persons in real time and alerts rescue teams with GPS coordinates.

Detection uses YOLOv8 fine-tuned in two rounds: 2,000 aerial images (42,000 annotations) for RGB, then 14,000 thermal images for night, fog, and water. Runs at 15-20 FPS with confidence scoring and track IDs.

From the portal, operators register missing persons, schedule drone missions, generate flight waypoints, coordinate multi-drone swarms, and track all detections. A 3-tier alert system escalates critical detections (>80%) with blocking alerts and exact GPS coordinates.

A LangGraph engine with three Claude-powered agents and 7 tools plans missions, reviews detections, generates briefings, and coordinates operations — amplifying rescue teams without replacing their judgment.
