There are over 7,000 rare diseases affecting 300+ million people worldwide. Their rarity makes them hard to diagnose, difficult to study, and nearly impossible to build clinical tools for. The evidence base is fragmented across thousands of individual case reports in medical literature.

Silene Systems automates the extraction of structured clinical data from published case reports using a multi-agent AI pipeline with Claude Opus 4.6, and presents it through an AI-native research workbench, where researchers can browse patients, analyze cohorts, search for digital twins, add their own patients and draft case studies.
