RunFestival puts an AI running coach in your earbuds. Pick a persona and go — Claude talks to you in real time throughout your run.

A multi-agent system powers every coaching moment. Claude Opus 4.6 serves as Head Coach with four personas: Hype Coach, Calm Guide, Data Nerd, and Storyteller. Two zero-cost rule-based agents — a Pace Strategist and a research-backed Motivation Engine — enrich every prompt without additional API calls.

The Motivation Engine implements findings from four peer-reviewed sports psychology papers: six run phases, "how" vs "why" mindset modes, momentum detection across splits, and self-talk cues from endurance research.

The voice pipeline achieves <5s latency by streaming Claude's response sentence-by-sentence through OpenAI TTS. Runners can talk back — tap the mic and Claude responds with full context.

Community presence shows who's running worldwide right now. Because running alone doesn't mean running lonely.
