280 million Indonesians have no practical way to read their own laws. The official legal database offers only PDF downloads: no search, no structure, no API.

Pasal.id is the first open, AI-native platform for Indonesian law. We transformed 40,000+ government regulations and 937,000+ legal articles from locked PDFs into structured, searchable data accessible through a web app, REST API, and the first-ever MCP server for Indonesian legislation.

Opus 4.6 powers everything. The codebase was built with Claude Code, and Opus 4.6 is embedded in the product: a multimodal agent uses vision to verify parsed text against original PDFs, auto-applies corrections, and creates GitHub issues to improve the parser. The AI makes the platform more accurate over time.
