Claude Care is an AI wellness monitoring platform for seniors living alone. It makes automated phone calls that run 8 validated clinical instruments through warm, natural conversation, then flags who needs help and alerts care teams in real time.
14M older adults in the U.S. live alone. Care teams manage 50–100+ people each and often guess who to prioritize. Claude Care replaces guesswork with structured clinical data. Each senior gets a weekly call from an AI that sounds like a caring friend, scored against peer-reviewed tools like PHQ-2 (depression), C-SSRS (suicide risk), Ottawa 3DY (cognition), and CLOVA-5 (daily wellness).
The system generates green/yellow/red risk flags, triggers tiered escalations, and emails care teams when urgent follow-up is needed.
Cost: $0.68 per call vs $15–25 for a human check-in — a 97% reduction that makes weekly outreach financially viable.
