Paige is an AI-powered development environment designed to help junior engineers grow into senior engineers faster, without sacrificing real productivity.

Instead of acting like a generic code generator, Paige functions as a full workflow-driven editor: it organises and prioritises real GitHub issues, generates a multi-step implementation plan using Claude Opus 4.6 Planning Mode, and then guides the developer through investigation, implementation, verification, and reflection.

Paige adapts the level of assistance to the user’s experience, explains code in-context, recommends targeted learning materials, generates practice challenges to reinforce weak areas, and performs iterative code reviews like a senior engineer — including spotting bugs, giving actionable feedback, and generating commit messages.

The goal is simple: if AI is replacing entry-level work, Paige ensures we don’t lose the next generation of senior developers.
